aim to provide therapy which respects each person's individuality
and potential for growth through the therapy relationship. My approach
is informed by attachment theory and the relational approach to
psychoanalytic psychotherapy as well as an understanding of humanistic
psychotherapy. According to your needs, I can offer Psychotherapy
and EMDR therapy separately or in combination.
Training
and Qualifications
I
have BA(hons) in Psychology and a post graduate teaching qualification.
I trained as a psychotherapist at the Centre
for Attachment-based Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy in London,
in arts psychotherapy with children at the Institute for Arts in
Therapy and Education and in EMDR with EMDR Workshops. I am registered
with the United Kingdom
Council for Psychotherapy.

of Psychotherapy and Disability, European Society for Trauma and Dissociation, and EMDR UK and Ireland Association.
Experience
I
have been a psychotherapist in private practice for eleven years.
Before that, I had a varied career as a teacher, lecturer, trainer,
senior manager in the voluntary sector and consultant in disability
matters.
